Application Notes

Maintenance: Electrolytes are highly corrosive materials. Crimping dies must be cleaned with ethanol after each use to avoid corrosion and deformation.

Do not use an air compressor when operating the unit in the glove box. Otherwise, air can flow inside and cause contamination. Use high purity inert (Ar or N2) gas instead.

To avoid damaging the machine, the gas pressure must be lower than 1.0MPa (10 bars or 145 PSI).

How to choose an MRBEST crimper

MR-SF120 is a hydraulic manual crimper. It is suitable to use an outside glovebox at a lower cost. It is a little difficult to operate inside the glove box, and also may be risky on oil leaking for long time use

MR-QF150 is driven by all of the types of inert gases at the faster and no NRTL certification is needed.

MR-DF160 is driven by electricity and is good for use in the glovebox with N2/Ar. but speed is a little slower than MR-QF150. It has a compact size and can be transformed via the air-lock chamber of the glovebox.
